Early Years Record uses a simple traffic light system against three main benchmarks – legal compliance with the EYFS, Ofsted readiness and best practice. The traffic lights give you an at-a-glance view of exactly how your setting is performing, and where improvements need to be made. Alerts and notifications ensure your registration, staff training, and procedures are kept up-to-date.

Early Years Record is built for nurseries and early years settings. It allows you to keep track of your compliance with legislation and guidance – including the most recent revision of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). Early Years Record tracks your safeguarding, child protection, health and safety, building and premises management against best practice from experts and Ofsted.
Early Years Record tracks your setting’s progress against the legal requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), which must be adhered to in accordance with the Children Act 2006. In addition, OFSTED and DfE guidance are used to support best practice. Early Years Record makes use of a number of focus areas to enable you to prepare, audit and improve practice within your setting.
